The Board of Governors approved the award of cleaning in 58 of the 116 public schools in the municipality, with a cost of nearly 4.8 million euros in two years.
Today has given approval to the hiring of three lots and in the near future will be the same with the remaining three.
This is not the only service that makes the Town Hall in schools, since it also takes care of personnel costs and maintenance and small repairs, which represents an approximate annual expenditure of 15.7 million euros.
So that in 2016 the Education Service has a budget of 6.2 million euros for current expenses, in which cleaning, repair of windows and blinds, heating and small repairs in city centers is included, since in the districts are responsible municipal boards.
These amounts must be incorporated 4.7 million water consumption (amount paid in 2015) and 4 million in electricity.
Moreover, planned investments in improvements of schools exceed 800,000 euros.
This makes an approximate amount of 15.7 million euros.
