Let's change Murcia urges the council to ensure living conditions in the homes of the late Francisco Franco Patronato (16/06/2016)

Councilman Nacho Tornel has denounced the deterioration suffered by the buildings of the old Patronage Francisco Franco and urges the Department of Planning, Environment and Huerta to make inspections "to ensure living conditions and minimum security to prevent risks".

As explained, the houses belong to the old patronage, which was created in the fifties, but ownership has not been transferred to any administration, so they remain in a legal limbo "so that no one takes responsibility."

In fact, according they have denounced neighbors and has been able to verify the mayor on a visit, the blocks have structural problems and a mesh on the facade, installed to prevent falling debris from the roof, which prevents tenants develop a normal life.

While the problems with the electrical system were resolved a couple of years ago, the network covering the facade "does not allow them to hang clothes, go out to the balcony or just let the air under normal conditions," said Tornel.

Add to that the bad material situation of public areas and deterioration of the interior of the own homes adds.

"As a logical consequence nobody wants to live there, but as the regime of ownership of housing continues to dictate that people do not own, purchase and sale of some flats without legal guarantees given".
