The headquarters of the Rector of the University of Murcia (UMU) has welcomed today's inauguration as manager of the institution of David Martinez Victorio, who said during the event their "commitment to ongoing dialogue".
The new manager has thanked the rector, Jose Orihuela, who chaired the ceremony, the trust for office "which is a challenge," he said, and that comes "with enthusiasm, ambition and firm conviction" to achieve the objectives proposed by the management team.
Martinez Victorio, who has held the post of deputy general manager during the tenure of the outgoing manager, Tomas Jimenez, has broken the challenges to achieve and achievements so far.
Meanwhile, Jimenez has requested the support of all the new manager, whom he described as "tenacious and hard working" because "their success will be ours," Personnel Administration and Services (PAS), stressed.
The act of inauguration brought together a large number of members of PAS, teachers and university officials, including the president of the Social Council, Javier Ruano, a body that has this morning approved the appointment was.
David Martinez Victorio (Cartagena, 1982) is lawyer of the Legal Department of the University of Murcia since 2008.
