The Civil Guard dismantled a criminal group dedicated to scams continued in an arcade (06/06/2016)

The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia has developed in Torreagüera-Murcia, the operation 'PROPHECY', an investigation to shed light on alleged irregularities reported by a company of amusement machines that has led to the arrest of three persons and five investigated for his alleged connection with a criminal organization dedicated to scams continued in recreational machines.

The investigation last December began when a company dedicated to the operation of gaming machines, reported to the Civil Guard about irregularities in the collection of gaming machines installed in a facility Torreagüera municipality of Murcia.

This error was repeated until the players achieved a winning game, who once came to generate up to 4,000 euro bonus.

Research has continued to find a former employee of the establishment, now under investigation, had initiated such criminal practices that were later continued by the store manager.

Once you know the huge profits that were obtained with this manipulation, was responsible for the premises which it selected regular customers and waiters of the establishment, in exchange for free drinks or gifts, the master key used to manipulate roulette.

These manipulations have continued in the injured company generated losses that would total 62,000 euros.

Operation 'PROPHECY' has recently culminated in the arrest of three male persons, of Spanish nationality, aged between 23 and 34 years, neighboring Torreagüera-Murcia and the investigation of prosecution as investigated five people three women and two men, aged between 21 and 34 years who are credited with authorship of the alleged crime of fraud and membership of a criminal organization.

Detainees and investigated, and the proceedings initiated have been made available to the Magistrate's Court in Murcia.
