Detainee less "red-handed" as he pulled an envelope with money donations mailbox of a church (06/06/2016)

The arrested had been placed in the mailbox hard plastic tape with adhesive on both sides for easy removal

National Police agents have arrested a minor, a Bulgarian national, suspected of a crime of burglary in a mailbox receiving donations.

The events began after a call to the Operations Room 091 where the caller says that a guy was trying to steal an object from inside a mailbox donations that Jesus Forsaken is located in different parishes of the city.

Personates in place, the acting police did not observe any persons handling the mailbox, or around detected the presence of any individual with the features provided.

Minutes later, the same applicant reiterates the call, and fearing that the alleged perpetrator noticing the approach of the police car, the officers decided to approach on foot, surprising the individual manipulating inside the mailbox, carrying in their hands a plastic tape with adhesive on both sides and one end of an envelope, inside which the monetary amount was 500 euros.

The system used by the arrested consisted of placing an adhesive strip on the inner mouth mailbox donations to curb money fall into and be subsequently removed without any problem.

The intervention has been carried out by agents of the Police District San Andrés of the National Police Headquarters of the Region of Murcia.
