More than 60 new parents of the municipality of Murcia have learned to solve problems and have acquired new skills with their babies, thanks to the annual course of Pediatrics and Child Care, free and open since last December, that the City of Murcia, through the Department of Health and Sports, headed by Felipe Coello, and in collaboration with the Pediatric Society of Southeast Spain launched.

The course, which ends with the session on power in the first year of life by Dr. Maria Victoria Lopez Robles, has been developed in 7 sessions from December 2015 to June 2016, the first Wednesday of each month from 18:00 to 19:30 in the auditorium of Building Moneo City of Murcia.

The goal, explained Coello, has been "guide, train and assist families and caregivers to acquire knowledge and skills in solving problems in the infant stage and can apply these learnings both in their family and in their place of work".

The theme of the course, has tried different facets such as adequate food, toxic problems at home, domestic accidents, vaccinations, colic, sleep problems, etc. are all taught by pediatric specialists in the field. "
