41 Fire Murcia part from today Infomur Plan (01/06/2016)

A total of 41 Fire Service Fire Fighting and dependent Rescue the Department of Traffic and Public Safety are part from today until September 30 Emergency Plan for Forest Fires (Infomur) in order to work on tasks prevention, monitoring and fighting fires in this period of high fire risk.

Mainly monitored areas of Carrascoy and El Valle and other forests of special relevance.

Councillor for Traffic and Public Safety, Lola Sanchez, explained that "our firefighters will be part of this plan in order that our forests are well protected during the summer époica. This participation has been made possible by the agreement on holiday shifts with our effective negotiating table. "

The Infomur Plan aims to optimize the means to avoid the risks, that forest fires can be caused to people and goods through the following actions:

- Establish mechanisms for effective prevention, detection, warning and extinguishing forest fires, as well as the correct deployment of means of extinguishing necessary for proper evaluation, control and information about them.

- Fix the actions necessary for the control and monitoring of access roads, facilitating the passage of the means of transport in the emergency.

- Determine the sanitary medical device, enabling effective care to injured and wounded and proper coordination for transportation to health centers.

- Perform the actions necessary for the relocation of the population is at risk area and their accommodation in safe places.

- Ensure the procurement of all equipment and supplies needed to carry out the actions required for the proper management of the emergency.

- Establish mechanisms of organization, coordination, collaboration and intervention extinguishing media itself in other CCAA plan either because they request it or because they are offered institutional support.

- Establish systems warning the population in order to alert them and provide information on the most appropriate actions in each case.
