2,400 students market their products and develop teamwork in the 7th edition of Mini Market (01/06/2016)

The Councillor for Education, University Relations, Rafael Gomez Carrasco, together with the general director of the Institute of Development, Javier Celdrá, attended the 7th edition Mini Market School Murcia in the Plaza del Cardenal Belluga, a flea market by 2,400 children who have created cooperatives in their school and market their products.

The Mini-Market Hub-EME Murcia is one of the activities included in the European Youth -EJE- Company Projects aimed at students in secondary education and Embark in my -EME- School aimed at students in 5th and 6th grade education primary.

In it, they have been around 44 stands corresponding to the 37 Institutes of secondary education, where they have put up for sale products bought in other Spanish and foreign mini-companies with which they have been associated and 39 stands belonging to 38 schools early childhood education and primary schools, who have sold products that they themselves have made in their respective centers.

For the development of this experience students have followed all the steps that would be developed in real life, for the creation and management of a company, developing skills and competencies such as teamwork, decision making, conflict resolution, cooperation, etc.
