Ballesta confirms that Murcia will be within the Network of Municipalities Refugee Reception (31/05/2016)

The Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, attended today in Madrid to the Governing Board of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), in which the creation of a network of host municipalities, which will adhere was approved Murcia , as confirmed by the mayor after the meeting.

Murcia, with the Syrian people

700,000 euros to promote healthy living locally

The agreement envisages the development of actions of prevention and health promotion by local authorities within the framework of the Strategy for Health Promotion and Prevention in the National Health System and has a budget of 700,000 € by the Ministry of health, which are intended to promote activities in the field of health directed to the municipalities.

Fundamentally topics related to the styles and living conditions will be addressed: snuff, alcohol, physical activity, healthy eating;

emotional well-being, prevention of injuries and diseases, active and healthy aging and comprehensive support healthy childhood.

387 million to train municipal employees

Another agreement was approved by the Board of Governors of the FEMP was used to finance the Training Plan 2016, worth 387 million euros and aims to boost the competitiveness of municipal employees.
