More than 11,500 primary schoolchildren have known this school year the guidelines of proper urban hygiene and the promotion of the practice of the three Rs of waste: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

The Department of Public Works and the concessionaire Ferrovial Servicios launched last October, the school campaign "Murcia Sustainable City 'consists of two activities: first the School Talks taking place in the schools themselves and by another visit to Waste Treatment center of Cañada Hermosa.
