The Board of Governors approved this morning the call for grants to associations and non-profit organizations in the field of municipal boards of neighborhoods and districts for this exercise, which aims to strengthen associations and groups in the municipality collaborate in generating scheduled cultural and social activities.

Thus, the Department of Administration Modernization, Urban Quality and Participation, led by José Guillen has managed to overtake the Order of Convening three months last year in which the notice was published in the BORM on October 6, 2015 , which will manifest itself in a direct benefit on applicants thereof.

Thus, they may be subject to grant activities for the group of citizens and strengthening of associations of them, the cultural, tourism, festivals, sports, education, youth, health, environment, cooperation, consumption, social services and other , operating costs and maintenance of the association itself, as well as small repairs that do not involve an increase in the assets of the association and activities that complement the actions of the City Council and its organs of Citizen Participation.

The total budget of the call amounts to 192,000 euros

They may be beneficiaries associations and non-profit organizations and individuals who meet the following requirements:

- Have their headquarters, registered office or carry out their activities in the territory of the municipal boards, both as Pedanías Barrio.

- They have justified subsidies from previous years, granted by the city of Murcia.

- Do not be recipients of aid or any other financial contribution from the City of Murcia Department or Agency dependent for the activity for which this grant is requested;

not be granted by the City Council over an annual grant to natural or legal person except for items other than the activity to be supported.

- No debts with the city of Murcia.

- Be informed in compliance with its tax and social security obligations under current legislation.
