The PSOE warns that the liquidation of Budget 2015 reflects that there are more than 70 million euro to be injected into neighborhoods and districts (26/05/2016)

The analysis of the liquidation of the municipal budget for year 2015 has led the Socialist Group in the city of Murcia to conclude that only last year ran 23.5 percent of budgeted investments.

According to data provided by the own Department of Finance, 21.7 million of the 93 million invested covered.

That is, less than 25 percent of total investments.

And another outstanding data is the high volume of outstanding receivable balances, which are estimated at about 240 million euros.

"This really hurts citizens and impoverishes the council to long term", "says Gras, since in the remaining Treasury there are 70.6 million corresponding to investments pending implementation of previous budget years, of which 19 million is for overhead and 51.6 million for financing expenses affected.

The Finance Committee has met today officially the liquidation of Budget 2015. "I do not think it wrong that has illusion in the municipal government, and that wants to go forward, and you have dreams, but dreams are to rise and walk, not to stay in them, "says Gras.

"What the data show is that we stand, and I worry that real needs are not being met. Today we only have off, without light ads."

Local government joined in 2015 more than 413 million euros, which is 13.6 more than expected in the initial approval of budgets million.

After reviewing the budget settlement data we are of interest, but we are clear that "when a company does not spend its investments or does not project or disoriented".

"I do not know if it's just a temporary situation of 2015, because if so it is a lesser evil, but we fear that is a problem of lack of decision-making so that these investments are put into effect," says Gras, which reveals that in 2015, the year when municipal elections occurred, increased by 126 percent propaganda expenses (1.1 million when the expected amount was 507,370 euros), 15.5 meeting expenses (1.7 million compared to 1.5 million planned) and 75 percent more in popular celebrations (3.7 billion was spent versus budgeted 2.1 million).

Socialist spokesman concluded that "these are signs that interest in spending when spending even higher than initially expected", since investments were to run 2.6 million in Culture, 2.7 million in Sports, 1, 6 Health in Urban Quality 1.8 and 5 million in community services districts.
