The Municipal Socialist Group has asked the management of the public company Urbamusa (Municipal Urbanizadora of Murcia, sa) a list of companies that had commercial and contractual relations with this company during the stage in which the first deputy mayor and councilman of Promotion Roque Ortiz, he served as manager.
In addition to the list of companies that contracted with Urbamusa, it has requested the object of contracts and the amount thereof.
The reason for this request has to be established to try to clarify the link that Roque Ortiz had with certain developers when he was head of Urbamusa, as Rafael Agueda, with whom traveled to Istanbul in 2008 in his private jet by the then mayor Miguel Angel House and former councilman Antonio Sanchez Carrillo, among others.
Remember that Roque Ortiz was named manager Urbamusa by Miguel Angel House, having occupied the Management of the University of Murcia in the stage Jose Ballesta was rector and subsequently agreed with it in the Board of Urbamusa when the current mayor was Minister of public Works and, therefore, vice president of the public company.
PSOE spokesman, Jose Ignacio Gras, has invited the other hand, the Councillor for Public Works, Roque Ortiz, in addition to public explanations of its relationship with the promoter Rafael Águeda and the trip to Istanbul, present supporting documents for the bills that trip, "at least for political ethics, because public servants must account for our behavior."
According to Gras, "Ortiz held a senior management position in the city of Murcia, since the management of a public company is not a mere technical position, but was appointed by the mayor and therefore full confidence political head of the Corporation. "
