The Governing Board has given the green light to the project activities centers Municipal Day Care occasion of the celebration of the Cultural Week, and during the whole year, as a means to encourage recreational and cultural, recreational experiences 100 biggest users of these facilities, located in Barriomar-La Purisima, Beniaján and Cabezo de Torres.
Some of the activities planned, for which 21,000 euros are allocated, will be launched both during the Cultural Week and throughout the whole year, including theater, workshops and cultural visits.
The Day Care Centers Municipal, dependent on the Department of Social Rights are facilities through which personal care services and care sociomedical to older people affected by different degrees of dependence and limitation of personal autonomy are provided.
They are a valuable resource for family support as it offers comprehensive care to the personal needs of beneficiaries / as during the day, thereby favoring the permanence in their usual living environments.
Since the commissioning of the first, it held annually Cultural Week highly valued by users, in which various activities that promote knowledge acquisition and integration of older people in their environment are made, as well as improving relations of coexistence, family, intergenerational in the vicinity of the three centers social level.
