Councillor and spokesman of the municipal formation, Alicia Morales, explained that the proposal was sent to the mayor arises from the petition that the LBT 'Ni Pears Ni Apples' group has sent now Murcia for the City Council two initiatives to join .

The International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia the Biphobia and is celebrated to commemorate the removal of homosexuality from the list of mental illnesses by the World Health Organization (WHO) on 17 May 1990.
