The Department of Social Rights, headed Conchita Ruiz Caballero, through the Mobile Emergency Service and Social Care (SEMAS), has assisted 75 people in socially excluded homeless, at low temperatures below 5 ° C, from November 2015 to last April.
Specifically, said Ruiz Caballero who "has served
28 Spanish nationals, 12 Bulgarian;
12 Moroccans;
2 Ukrainians;
1 Polish;
6 Romanians, 4 Lithuanians;
1 Steam;
4 Algerians;
1 Argentine and 4 of undetermined nationality ".
The Minister of Social Rights has explained that SEMAS professionals, "and provide information and guidance to these people, have made delivery of food and hot drinks 29, 22 blankets, 18 sleeping bags."
For delivery of material aid, it has enjoyed the cooperation of agents night shift at the local police.
In addition, 4 people from underserved, have been moved to emergency shelters overnight in the municipality of Murcia, specifically 2 to the Jesus Forsaken Foundation and another 2 to the RAIS Foundation.
In addition to the night care for people in situations of social exclusion, SEMAS has provided 25 blankets and 40 sleeping bags to people who have requested it in the dependencies section Prevention and Social Integration (Care Services Bystanders and immigrants).
Finally, Ruiz Caballero added that the SEMAS, aims with this initiative, "not only provide material aid to combat the cold, but start or continue processes accompanying permit, as far as possible, to overcome these situations of social exclusion" .
