More than 20 acrobats of the French company XY dance on Thursday Teatro Circo Murcia sky (10/05/2016)

On Thursday, at 21 hours, Murcia Circus Theatre will host the show 'Il n'est pas encore minuit' of the French company XY, a whole collective creation with the participation of 22 acrobats, thus uniting the benefits of dance and the circus, and in whose creation participated choreographer Loïc Touzé.

The new show XY circus, Il n'est pas encore minuit, beyond imaginable limits of a person walking about discipline circus acrobatics transportation and verges, eliciting gasps in unison with a dedicated and fascinated public.

Body, technical, artistic and emotional possibilities of the French company XY go far beyond the "even harder" that has characterized the classical circus and still characterizes contemporary.

Two completely different styles with one thing in common, the risk.

This creation was premiered by the XY company in the Lyon Dance Biennial, after four years of touring.

In its release, expanded the number of acrobats from 17 to 22, half the cast renewed and aired its principles to the younger ones, in order to carry the weight of the show equally.

So they took their acrobatics to a new level, with more difñiciles somersaults and the creation of more complex geometric shapes by chaotic.

However, they were the ones that revolutionized the landscape of the circus in 2009 with towers several stories of boys and girls rising to the sky.

After 'Le Grand C' (2009), with public success, this new show Il n'est pas encore minuit, is a further demonstration of the possibilities of his acrobatic technique, whose specialty is porté aerobatic, a dangerous technique that requires a strong carrier (100 kilos on average) to launch into the air, carrying all the weight in his arms or on his shoulders holding a slight acrobat (50 kilos).

Thus, Il n'est pas encore minuit goes beyond the circus, outlining their potential in the writing of the bodies of the acrobats in space, as well as the outline of deviations (interventions for a figure to change his career) and veering towards dance.
