The Municipal Socialist Group will request a review of all agreements signed with the Catholic University San Antonio of Murcia (UCAM), in the framework of the Special Committee on Oversight of Contract, as was adopted in plenary last month February.
Also, the PSOE will ask a report to service personnel on those municipal officials who have some kind of relationship with this university as teachers or employees of any of its activities.
These requests are motivated by several reports that suggest planning irregularities allegedly committed by the UCAM, including those who have met today in the sense that the head of Town Planning of the City of Murcia, José Luis Camacho Porto, teaches at the UCAM and would be responsible for overseeing the works carried out on the campus of Los Jeronimos suit legality.
"It is unacceptable that the City of Murcia appears linked to alleged connivance with irregular activities that might have made this university, so policy makers must be vigilant and ensure that the law is fulfilled," said Ayuso.
"Crossbow can not look away, nor the Town Planning, Antonio Navarro, because they would be following in the footsteps of Miguel Angel House interested in supporting the UCAM".
