20,000 young people can benefit from over 50 free weekly program activities 'Networks' Town Hall (06/05/2016)

The Governing Board has given the green light to the contract documents for hiring the services 'organization and management of the program of leisure activities weekend: Networking Leisure', for an amount of 250,800 euros, which enjoy 20,000 youth in the municipality of Murcia between 12 and 30 years.

The program aims Networks for leisure, the Department of Youth and Development Cooperation, who heads Rebeca Perez, is to encourage young people habits and healthy, educational and enriching attitudes regarding the use of their free time covering the widest range possible age, social areas, places and activities that include points of interest of young people in recreational, sports, outdoor, cultural areas etc.

In addition, it aims to promote the search for healthy alternatives in leisure time, encourage participants to develop the relational field: human, social, ideological ..., creating a network of relationships between different social agents of the municipality.

Activities range from Jugger, magic, warhammer, Japanese painting, skating, night championship futsal, skate, sign language, comic-manga, scooter, Spanish guitar, bass, electric guitar, break dance, modern dance, to graphic design assisted, self defense, literary, table tennis, drawing and painting, ... more than 50 free activities every weekend.
