Traffic accidents, issue next "Wednesday mediation" in Mills River (02/05/2016)

Traffic accidents will be the topic that will address the next meeting of the "Wednesday mediation" to be held the day after tomorrow, day 4. These meetings, held in Los Molinos del Rio, are an alternative to the prosecution of disagreements between citizens and favors the approach of conflicting positions and therefore its solution by eliminating the element of tension inherent in legal proceedings.

This is a forum for meeting and working professionals interested in promoting mediation.

It is composed of over two hundred members from different fields, as well as public institutions, professional associations and associations of mediators, with the common denominator of being all interested in promoting the use of mediation.

The Neutral Point Promotion of Mediation (PNPM) for the Region of Murcia was established on January 31, 2013, promoted by the European Group of Magistrates for Mediation (GEMME).

Mediation, used so far mainly in the family, can also be successfully applied in disagreements in the education, health sector, in insurance, consumer, horizontal property or in order to solve problems arising in relations neighborhood , etc.

This new meeting "Wednesday mediation" will be held on 4th, from 19.00 to 20.30 hours, with the theme "Mediation in traffic accidents: the Law on insurance and liability".

As always, access is free until full capacity.

pioneer Town Hall

The city of Murcia was a pioneer when in 1996 it launched a service to advise and assist couples in the process of separation or divorce, in order to help reduce litigation proceedings and prevent breaches in matrimonial proceedings.

Thus it provides an alternative court to resolve disagreements related to their rupture, avoiding useless confrontations between the couple and, at the same time promoting a reduction of contentious proceedings as a legal way to solve the separation.

Another service promoted by the City Council to encourage mediation was the creation in 2010 of proximity policing collaboration with the Association of Property Administrators of Murcia, which functions as a direct link between neighboring communities and agents.
