The University of Murcia (UMU) held tomorrow, Friday, April 29, the investiture ceremony as a doctor honoris causa of Joaquín Prats Cuevas, Professor of Teaching Social Sciences of the University of Barcelona.
The event, which will run from 12:30 pm in the auditorium, Merced campus, will be chaired by the rector of the University of Murcia, José Orihuela, Professor Francisco Chacon being asked to deliver the laudatio the new doctor honoris cause.
Joaquín Prats has a strong reputation as an expert in Teaching History in the analysis of education systems and the history of universities.
The investiture of Professor Prats occurs on a proposal from the departments of Teaching Social (Faculty of Education) and Mathematics and Modern, Contemporary and American History (Faculty of Arts).
