The Council chaired by Javier Ruano also promote the organization of a "mentoring" program to the best records of official master 's degrees from the University

The Social Council has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Regional Confederation of Business Organizations of Murcia (CROEM), supported on the need to facilitate labor market participation of students of the University of Murcia and bring the Murcian business network resources humans with high technical and scientific training, enabling them to improve their competitiveness.

The President of the Social Council, Javier Ruano, along with his counterpart from the CROEM, Jose Maria Albarracin, have established a basis for action that are committed to promoting the increased supply of curricular practices to the students of the UMU and the organization of a "mentoring" program to the best records of official master's degrees from the University.

The objectives of this memorandum of understanding are to encourage companies associated with CROEM, which have not yet collaborated with the University of Murcia for trainees, strengthen their relationship with this educational institution to increase the supply and quality of practices companies UMU offers its students, and promote a program in which the best records of students of official master's degrees from the University can perform weekly stays in major companies in the region with the CEOs of the same.

Ruano has expressed its intention that "the content of the practices is directly related to their studies, to improve student employability and competitiveness of companies in Murcia" and the Masters of the University of Murcia allow students "acquire high levels of knowledge and skills that can lead to improved management processes of companies."

The CROEM, meanwhile, considered very beneficial for its member companies participate in the implementation of actions proposed by the Social Council in its action plan.
