Campus Jeronimos host tomorrow Friday, April 22, from 09:30 am, the National Conference on Breast Cancer Update and Work organized by the International Chair in Medicine and Expert Evaluator UCAM.
In the opening ceremony intervene Carlos Vázquez Albaladejo, president of the Spanish Society of Senology and Breast Pathology, who will also be present at the roundtable on "Current status of breast cancer management ', along with other experts from hospitals Morales Meseguer Murcia, Virgen de la Arrixaca, and Santa Lucia de Cartagena.
Also intervene José Luis Alonso, head of the Medical Oncology Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca.
The conference will take place through various presentations such as those taught Araceli Lopez-Guillen, secretary of the Professional Association of Medical Examiners of Social Security;
that treat the environment occupational risk factors for breast cancer;
and Jose Manuel Vicente Pardo, director of the International Chair in Medicine and Expert Evaluation of the UCAM, which will focus its intervention on the assessment of work capacity after suffering breast cancer.
Other speakers at this conference, Maria Martinez, Service Morales Meseguer Hospital Radiology;
Antonio Piñero, surgical oncologist at the Virgen de la Arrixaca;
and Juan Salinas, chief of Radiation Oncology Hospital Santa Lucía de Cartagena.
This day is intended to update the knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of this disease and risk factors present at work and occupational medical assessment evaluating its aftermath
