Specifically have received this distinction in March Travel Agencies, 2 bars and cafes, 33 shops, 1 Convention Bureau, a Spanish language school for foreigners, 12 Tourist Guides, 14 museums and attractions, 2 Professional Congress Organizers, a Palace congress, 11 restaurants and 11 Taxis.

As explained by the Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, "the Plan Quality Tourism aims to promote the necessary initiatives to strengthen the Murcian tourism sector in an increasingly competitive market, facing holistically actions to improve the quality of all elements that directly or indirectly influence the development of tourism for Murcia takes hold as a quality tourist destination. Integral System of Quality Tourism in Destinations (SICTED) is a methodology that provides a comprehensive and permanent quality management system at the destination, encompassing those services that are part of the itinerary of consumption of tourists, as tourist satisfaction derived from obtaining a positive experience on multiple levels.

The employer has the free advice of the technicians of the Department throughout the implementation process and finally an external evaluator, accredited by the Ministry of Tourism, and funded by the Department itself, performs spot checks quality standards prior to obtaining distinctive gait.
