The techniques and latest developments in criminology, at the international conference which opens tomorrow at the UMU (12/04/2016)

The meeting, to be held in the auditorium of the Merced campus, will focus on the opening day conferences "Neurocriminology" by Professor of the University of Pennsylvania Adrian Raine;

"Charlie Hebdo: 5 days hatred and violence on the Internet", given by Professor Fernando Miró, University Miguel Hernandez;

"Children and Justice", which will provide the judge Emilio Calatayud, and "Addiction to social networks," which will give the Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of the Basque Country Enrique Echeburúa.

The rector of the University of Murcia, José Orihuela, will open tomorrow, Wednesday, both Congress and the exhibition "Art and Criminology" which has been installed for the occasion in the auditorium.

On Thursday, the criminal lawyer Beatriz de Vicente will address the treatment that make the media in violent crime, while members of the National Police, Civil Guard and Ertzaintza will focus on the forensic aspects of the investigation criminal.

The violence at sporting events and environmental criminology will be among the topics of the session on Friday, which will close with the presentation "Multiple Murderers in one act" Criminal Psychology Professor Vicente Garrido, of the University of Valencia.

The conference is organized by the Faculty of Law and the Department of Legal History and Criminal Sciences and Criminology of the University of Murcia, with the collaboration of Campus Mare Nostrum (CMN) and sponsored by the Seneca Foundation.
