"More and more civilian victims of war" (Mila Font, MSF Delegate for Murcia) (12/04/2016)

The conference revolved around the new MSF campaign, titled "Staying alive", tries to explain the struggle of civilians hit by the war, both fleeing from it like those who try to escape.

The commitment of the organization is twofold: medical action and testimony: "we denounce the suffering of all these people and bring about changes that will improve their situation."

A refugee camp in the UMU

Regarding the new campaign, Font said "we want to show the faces of the people living these conflicts and how it affects them in their lives."

The campaign focuses on two countries: Syria and South Sudan, and said that "we have chosen these contexts because there is much human suffering in them, and represent the two sides of the coin: the conflict that comes out in the media and that is forgotten them. "

Mila Font referred to the situation in Syria, where he assured repeatedly violated the most fundamental rules of war, and which has posted the bombing of 32 hospitals and health centers.
