The University of Murcia (UMU) and the Basketball Federation of the Region have signed an agreement for the implementation of a program of visual health care to members of Murcian regional players selections.

Under the program, the School of Optometry of the University of Murcia will conduct reviews in which will determine whether there is any visual dysfunction in the players and the potential impact of the same in basketball practice.

Tests will include retinoscopy, subjective refraction, cover test, determination of stereopsis and ratings of accommodation, convergence and ocular motility.
