Adirmu new venue at the Palacio de los Deportes, which offers free consultations to people with diabetes (08/04/2016)

The Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, and the Minister of Health, Encarna Guillén, inaugurated this afternoon the new headquarters of the Murcia Association for Diabetes Care (Adirmu), a new facility located on the premises of the Palacio de los Deportes Murcia, which has been provided by the Council, and in which the association offers free consultations with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals to improve the quality of life of diabetics.

The event, which coincides with World Health Day, which this year has focused on diabetes, was attended by President of the Association, Asuncion Saez;

Councillor of Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz;

and the director general of Public Health and Addictions, Manuel Molina Boix.

Adirmu partners and more than a hundred volunteer health professionals (nurses, pharmacists, nutritionists) have been thrown to the street today to raise awareness of the treatment of this disease and its prevention.
