One hundred families benefit from workshops Early Stimulation of the City of Murcia (07/04/2016)

One hundred families will benefit from the workshops Early Stimulation and Prevention for Health (Bebeteca), organized from the Department of Social Rights of the City of Murcia in four localities of the municipality of Murcia, one more than last year, He reported the head of this council, Conchita Ruiz Caballero.

This initiative's main objective, as highlighted Ruiz Caballero, "equip parents or primary caregiver of a space where they can be formed on issues related to the upbringing and education of their sons / daughters, raise doubts and concerns, assuming an active role in stimulating the development of their sons / daughters and guide and provide guidelines for non-sexist education ".

For this reason, the City Council of Murcia has launched this project, which consists of two phases, the first given by psychologists Early intervention specialists, and the second phase by professionals in the field of health.

For this second phase they are scheduled 4 workshops in the town and villages, namely:

· Municipal Center Sucina: April 6, Wednesday from 9:30 am to 11:00 am

· Municipal Center Abenarabi: April 6, Wednesday from 11:30 to 13:00

· Municipal Center Lobosillo: April 7, Thursday from 10:30 to 12:00 hours

· Municipal Center Corvera: April 8, Friday from 10:30 to 12:00 hours

Ruiz Caballero pointed out that since the policy framework of gender equality, "it is necessary to provide spaces and opportunities for men to join the field of family care and specifically to care and participation in the activities and decisions the early stages of parenting required because the mother and father are the affective, emotional health and most important reference and in turn need guidance for this stage ".
