The rector of the University of Murcia (UMU), José Orihuela, and the Minister of Health, Encarna Guillen, have welcomed the concert signed today between the two institutions for clinical teaching in health qualifications.
After signing the document, at the headquarters of the Ministry, Guillen has said that it is a "very important and positive" agreement, which ends a negotiation process that has lasted for several months.
"It has been said to preserve It is, above all, the quality of practice, which has been, from the beginning, our main goal."
The minister recalled that the agreement, which lasts four years, is linked to the UMU degree in Medicine for the three public hospitals in the city of Murcia (Virgen de la Arrixaca, Morales Meseguer and Reina Sofia);
the Virgen de la Arrixaca to the degree in Nursing, and the Virgen de la Arrixaca, Morales Meseguer and Queen Sofia for the degree in Physical Therapy.
In addition, for the delivery of three degrees, health centers corresponding to areas of each of these hospitals are linked.
They are also linked as partners for the degree in Nursing medical-surgical hospital of Santa Maria del Rosell de Cartagena units.
Meanwhile, to the degree in Medicine, Pediatrics services, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Rheumatology and Dermatology at the hospital Los Arcos del Mar Menor.
Also in the annex a concert including healthcare posts and teachers linked to the hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca.
The rector of the University of Murcia, José Orihuela, has said the concert together to achieve adequate quality practices, in addition to regulating the structure of teacher characteristics.
Orihuela has also indicated that "we are at the beginning of a change for best practices for students of all health qualifications", in addition to affirming that throughout the negotiating process "we have ensured that the interests of the UMU are protected" .
At a meeting prior to the signing of the concert, the manager Murciano Health Service (SMS) has agreed to attend a future meeting of the board of the faculty of Sociosanitary campus Lorca.
Furthermore, it has been advanced that it will work for a specific agreement with the latter faculty around the practices of their students.
