The Governing Council of the University of Murcia (UMU) has approved the concert for clinical teaching practices affecting the degrees of Medicine, Nursing and Physiotherapy.
At the Council meeting, held today at the Faculty of Chemistry, the Vice Chancellor of Economy, Sustainability and Health Sciences and member of the SNB, José María Abellán has said that this is a minimal agreement;
the UMU wished not to share space with other universities, but the reality is what it is.
The rector, José Orihuela, meanwhile, reiterated that the team chairs will act at all times in defense of the public, as has been his performance since coming to the Rector, and always will be with students and teachers in their demands.
It has also shown its commitment to continue working for the Campus of Lorca Sociosanitarias of Sciences.
The agreement approved today, which lasts for four years, is linked to the UMU degree in Medicine for the three public hospitals in the city of Murcia (Virgen de la Arrixaca, Morales Meseguer and Reina Sofia);
the Virgen de la Arrixaca to the degree in Nursing, and the Virgen de la Arrixaca, Morales Meseguer and Queen Sofia for the degree in Physical Therapy.
In addition, for the delivery of three degrees, health centers corresponding to areas of each of these hospitals are linked.
They are also linked as partners for the degree in Nursing medical-surgical hospital of Santa Maria del Rosell de Cartagena units.
Meanwhile, to the degree in Medicine, Pediatrics services, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Rheumatology and Dermatology at the hospital Los Arcos del Mar Menor.
Also in the annex a concert including healthcare posts and teachers linked to the hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca.
President of the Student Council (Ceumar), Domingo Sanchez, has advanced to the April 4 will be held at the Regional Assembly a meeting with the four parliamentary groups to address the issue of practices, meeting requested by this body of student representation .
