On Thursday March 17th a new Day Debate held at 17:00 in the Aula Antonio Soler Aulario of La Merced.
"The EU in crisis: the reception of refugees and immigrants and British exception" will be the title of this conference, which will have two activities.
The first will be a conference Kumbrián Ruben Dario Torres, a political scientist and director of the Hispano-Polish Scientific Research Network.
Then the final of the League II and III Debate Tournament Speeches at the University of Murcia will be held.
This type of university debates consist in the confrontation of arguments by two groups (one in favor and one against), in accordance with rules of time and form, and after careful research and study process.
Its main objective is to develop communication skills of college students and achieve so that they know groups of people express themselves with confidence, conviction and credibility.
The event is organized by the Department of Culture and the Classroom Debate.
