For three days, national and international in the field of injury prevention and rehabilitation in soccer experts exchanged knowledge and have revealed the latest developments through their research and their work in some of the most important clubs in the world.

Dr. Pedro Guillen congratulated the conference organizers and UCAM as "the University of the world's most promotes sport" and sent a message to those who after a long time without ejecicio, start training and preparing long-distance races: "sport is part of the quality of life of people. you have to respect it as such but to do a preliminary recognition to know the fatigue that can have and how far can offset sports. exercise is medicine. there diabetics or people with heart problems that are recommended to walk, so not only heals with a pílodora that pulls out of pocket. "

People who now perform exercise after a long time would have to say that is fine but "you can not make a 8,000, which would be the Everest, but it can make 1,500. So you have to adapt to the age, effort, . to the physical conditions Everyone has the right to do sports, but you have to know the locomotor system to know what is best there are two exercises that are the best. pool, not swimming, because one weighs less and bike because there is no charge. other sports already have a load that must be analyzed before proceeding. "

Besides, on all subjects, issues and professionals who have spent these days at the Catholic University, Dr. Guillen commented that "this conference shows that it has greatly fragmented knowledge in this field. The trainers and experts in high performance have great value in sport and always come to help. "

In this direction, he stressed the importance of teamwork and multidisciplinary to improve the healing of injuries: "In sport there is a truth: you have to overlap the biological repair of the lesion with physical recovery while he recovers. fracture or ligament tear, the physiotherapist and physical trainer should keep the rest of muscles and permeable joints so that when discharged because the injury has healed not when you start the physiotherapy work. that work must start it before and thus the total recovery period be shortened. "

Raquel Blasco, researcher and professor at the University of Valladolid, gave the closing conference: 'Muscle fatigue: prevention and treatment and pharmacological ergogenic aids'.

In his speech he stressed the importance of knowing well the products consumed to promote athletic performance and prevent injuries because "there are more than two hundred ergogenic aids catalagadas of which is only shown to serve some water, supplementation with carbohydrates carbon, protein, caffeine two anticatabolizantes (creatine and hydroxymethyl butyrate), branched amino acids and iron, only when there is a deficit of it. with the rest, there are some that are worthless with people are spending time and money and creating expectations that are not going to comply ".
