PSOE: "The charges against House and former councilor Ros suggest that the Popular Party in the city of Murcia is rotten root" (12/03/2016)

The opening of trial for malfeasance former mayor of Murcia and former secretary general of the PP, Miguel Angel House, as well as news that we come to know that affect councilors and former councilors and senior municipal officials, "point to a number very serious acts that put into question the management of the Popular Party in the city of Murcia, a rotten management root and deserves a strong response and to which the current mayor, José Ballesta, can not look away " .

This has expressed the spokesman of the Socialist Municipal Group, José Ignacio Gras, which states that "the practices that we know in recent days and they will be judged by the courts are very serious, unbecoming of people who were chosen to manage municipal or public employee matters. so from the first minute we arrived to the city Council demanded the review of large contracts, and have promoted the revision of the Urban Development Plan ".

One of those big contracts were to be reviewed is the maid service, which was responsible then-Councilman Jose Ros, on which now weigh suspicions that might have been benefited by commissions of companies awarded municipal contracts.

The Special Surveillance Commission Procurement initiative of the PSOE, has begun reviewing contracts home help and tax management to continue with Terra Natura and contract cleaning service, among others.

Jose Ignacio Gras recalls that the Socialist Group has been maintaining for years vigilant opposition and control corrupt practices covered by the arrogance of absolute majorities and the lack of transparency in the management of the City.

According to Gras, the cumulative cases of alleged corruption in the Popular Party of Murcia (Miguel Angel House, Fernando Berberena, José Ros, senior officials ...) show that the system is corrupted and we need to aerate all cases reported and investigated and that can not be done with his heirs at the head of the departments, "he says.

"We have not heard anything Ballesta this succession of cases that appear involved his predecessor, as well as some of the councilors who are in government and were imposed by Valcárcel and House," says the Socialist spokesman.

"The lack of control, where they have primacy particular interests, is the result of abuse of an absolute majority. The City needs a real change in the drawers can be opened, not can continue to manage people of the same party" he concludes.
