The Governing Board approved the salary increase of 1% and 50% pay extra December 2012 (11/03/2016)

City officials are in luck.

The Governing Board has given its approval to the approval of the Vengeful Tables of this year, which will allow the City employees perceive, from the payroll this month, a wage increase of 1%.

The agreement approved today has retroactive effect from 1 January 2016 so that officials charged extra on this list 1% for the months of January and February this year.

Similarly, this increase affects other wage supplements existing social benefits as marriage, domestic partnership, birth, funeral, child with a disability, dyslexia, odontologías, mileages and other special aids.

This wage increase will affect all municipal officials from all existing groups (A1, A2, B, C1, C2 and Professional Assignment).

Moreover, the Governing Board has also approved the payment to public employees who are owed 50% of the bonus which was abolished in December 2012 and corresponding to 60 days.

This will involve an investment of City Hall amounting to three million euros and thus completes officials have recovered 100% of the suppressed pay three years ago.

Councilman Modernization, Jose Guillen, has indicated that "thus fulfill a dual commitment. On the one hand officials regain their purchasing power since his salary is frozen since 2010. And secondly fulfill the commitment to restore as soon as possible, bonus that was owed from 2012. These aspects are the result of consensus and dialogue as they have been agreed unanimously by unions and local political groups "
