Modernization Councilman Jose Guillen, visited Churra to see first hand the state of the green areas of the district in which is installed a new playground in the residential Puerta de Hierro.
Thus, children can now enjoy a space of 80 square meters perfectly conditioned with three springs, a slide and a swing, plus rubber floor to prevent strokes and colors fence.
This is the first completed playground is part of the Comprehensive Plan of improvement and upgrading of parks and gardens in the municipality of Murcia launched by the Department to promote the use and enjoyment of the parks by children and adults.
Thus, it is working on the rehabilitation and improvement of 25 new playgrounds and the creation of 50 gerontogimnasia.
Councilman Jose Guillen explained that "from the government team are conducting a process of transformation in the green areas of the municipality in order to turn them into spaces for meeting and coexistence for all Murcia. With this action we want our older enjoy our green areas while exercisers adapted to their age. "
Currently there are 100 areas and 550 gerontogimnasia playgrounds.
This initiative is completed with the plan being designed by the Department of Modernization to equip the playgrounds more demands awnings that provide shade for children, allowing them more used in the months of high temperatures.
The action that is currently underway in the recreation area in the Plaza de Castilla includes a pilot project for laying a modern pergola for covering this area and the relocation and renovation of playgrounds and gerontogimnasia.
