Now Murcia proposes the presence of women in the arts and sciences for graffiti mural (07/03/2016)

NOW MURCIA today proposed to the City of Murcia that the mural themed on women's rights and equality within the initiative '12 walls 12 months' is on participation and presence of women in science and letters "whose activity today encouraged and continues to encourage effective equality in professional work and access of women to tasks of responsibility," he says the councilor and spokesman of the municipal formation, Alicia Morales.

The mayor explained that for realization of this mural "could include images of pioneer women in these fields, both Murcia and international relevance have visited Murcia or have been involved with our municipality."

In this regard, he recalled the visit of the scientist Marie Curie, the first person to receive the Nobel Prize twice.

Now Murcia's proposal responds to the request of Councillor for Development of ideas for '12 initiative walls 12 months', promoted by the Municipal Office of Graffiti, and also agree with the proposal in plenary last created in the municipality a mural on women's rights and equality.
