40 thousand people attending the meeting in Murcia vocational Kiko Arguello (06/03/2016)

40 thousand people, the vast majority young, from parishes of all the regions of Spain and other countries, such as Brazil or Portugal, have rallied this afternoon on the campus of the Catholic University of Murcia, in a vocational meeting with Kiko Arguello, founder of the Neocatechumenal Way, which also included leading representatives of the Catholic and Orthodox Church, as well as the president of the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza.

In addition, the event served as the closing of the International Congress Laudato Si 'held last week at the UCAM.

Families in mission

During the celebration, in response to the request by the Catholic Church that transmitted Kiko Arguello, 200 families took the stage to offer to evangelize in any country in the world.

Similarly, during the course of this meeting were about 180 guys who have volunteered to go to seminary and train as priests;

and more than 100 girls who have offered to the consecrated life.

Sasoon Zumrookhdian, Patriarchal Vicar of the Armenian Orthodox Church for Spain and Portugal, Monsignor Nicholas Matti, Spain archbishop Siro-Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch;

and Sahak Masalian, patriarchal delegate of the Armenian Orthodox Church.

The event was broadcast live on TV Popular Murcia, and through its Internet channel;

which it has caused many people sent messages of thanks from Mexico, Chile, Australia, Krakow, Brazil, Peru, Costa Rica, Bolivia, El Salvador, Vietnam, London and Ecuador.

Congress conclusions Laudato Si '

The president of the UCAM has announced some of the findings of Laudato Congress Si 'comprehensive and environmental ecology, in which more than 200 experts participated, including the need to promote peace and prosperity among all, and put the technology at the service of man.

"We need to create a World Environment Agency Environment", he said.

Similarly, it has also highlighted the need to recognize women's role in society and "bet on a market economy that takes into account the common good."
