In the municipal Center for Social Services City of Murcia 'activities to be performed include, among others, cultural outings, field trips and beach, stays in lodges and camps and workshops.

The 'Office 2016 Municipal Volunteer Social Service Centre Murcia Sur' project will involve 41 volunteers

The Board of Governors has authorized the expenditure of 61,500 euros to develop a project 'Volunteering for Social Exclusion Program Community Intervention Center of Social Services Murcia' and one of the 'Office of Volunteering 2016 Social Service Centre Murcia South'.

Specifically, the program 'Volunteers for Social Exclusion.

Program Community Intervention Municipal Social Services Centre Ciudad de Murcia ', which will benefit 200 children, of various measures of Community intervention to be developed in their territorial scope, which includes both training workshops volunteer projects as extracurricular activities and workshops which are developed by groups of Social volunteering.

The activities to be performed include, among others, cultural outings, field trips and beach, stays in lodges and camps and workshops.

The 200 children who will benefit belong to the neighborhoods of Santiago and Zaraiche, Santiago el Mayor, La Paz and La Fama, aged between 4 and 13 years.

The amount for this project from the Department of Social Rights, headed Conchita Ruiz Caballero, it is 43,500 euros and will have 45 volunteers.

On the other hand, the project 'Volunteer Office 2016 Municipal Social Services Center Murcia Sur', with the participation of 41 volunteers, includes the following basic objectives:

• Raising public awareness towards the values ​​of solidarity promoting greater social and community participation.

• Promoting volunteering in the area of ​​action of the Center for Social Services "Murcia South".

• Enabling training to enable the volunteers assume their voluntary commitment adequate qualification.

• Coordinate and participate in community activities of the associations in the area.

The area of ​​operation is Algezares, Aljucer, Stables, Bathrooms and Beggar, Boatmen, Beniaján, Cañada Hermosa, Glens of San Pedro, Corvera, El Palmar, Gea and Truyols, Jerónimo and Avileses, La Alberca, La Murta-Carrascoy, Lobosillo, Sorrows, the Garres, Los Martínez del Puerto, Los Ramos, Patino San Gines, San Jose de la Vega, Valladolises and the Jury, Sangonera la Seca Sangonera la Verde, Sucina, Torreagüera and Zeneta.
