DELETREARTES, organized by the Department of Communication, Culture and Sports of the University of Murcia, is an initiative that will include a series of cultural events that will take place between March and December 2016.
The project was presented yesterday, Thursday, March 3, at the rectory of the University of Murcia by Monica Galdana Pérez Morales, Vice Chancellor for Communication, Culture and Sports, Paco and Diana Serrano, Coordinator of Service Culture UMU.
The cycle, with an open, multidisciplinary, seeks to merge the different arts around any kind of cultural activity.
"We wanted Diana said Paco in the presentation- take advantage of the fact that this year marks the centenary of important cultural figures to give a tribute".
In 2016, DELETREARTES pay tribute to five writers highlight the anniversary is celebrated this year: IV centenary of the death of Miguel de Cervantes and William Shakespeare, and the centenary of the birth of playwright Antonio Buero Vallejo, novelist Camilo Jose Cela and the poet Blas Otero.
"We want to celebrate the culture, opening his arms in a multidisciplinary way," De Paco said, referring to the multiple artistic plots covering the festival: games, music, dance, workshops, fashion, film, theater, art ...
The coordinator of Culture reported that DELETREARTES activities will be developed around two axes:
- Scenes whose name I can not remember encompass music, theater, dance, concerts, recitals, children's workshops, dramatized readings ...
- Cultural Logografías: conferences, round tables, workshops, exhibitions, fashion, children's activities ...
