IU + LV highlights the challenges presented by the Greater Santiago area in terms of traffic (02/07/2010)

UI + Councillor LV de Murcia, Esther Herguedas, today sent a letter to the council's Traffic Safety and local municipality to report problems in the neighborhood of St. James the Great in terms of traffic and public safety.

Herguedas, who has held a meeting with the residents of that neighborhood, has indicated that the area generally circular jet at high speed and emitting a loud noise, but it is known the implementation of emission controls and assuming a risk pedestrians.

He has also criticized the new signaling and prevents left turn after crossing the tracks, and the shortage of parking spaces for the disabled and the lack of police presence in both time of day or night.
