136 works eligible for the Award for Painting at the University of Murcia, worth 8,000 euros (02/07/2010)

136 people have registered for the XI Award for Painting at the University of Murcia, sponsored by the Foundation and Vicente Fuentes-Mansion Inn Bed Silk with 8,000 euros, will fail during the day.

A jury of the writer and art critic Juan Manuel Bonet, the painter Anton Patino, former director of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Castilla León Rafael Doctor, Professor, Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Valencia and Rosa Martínez Art Center director Almudí Palacio de Murcia, Martin Paez, today elected the winner and which will be exhibited in October at the Palais Almudí.

The participants come from virtually works all over the country and the countries Argentina, Sweden, Cuba, Paraguay, Italy, France and Portugal.

Before deliberation, the jury has met in the building of convalescence with the rector of the University of Murcia, José Antonio Cobacho, the rector of University Extension, Francisco Guillermo Diaz, the council of the Municipality of Murcia Rafael Gomez and director the aforementioned Foundation, Francisco Fuentes.
