500,000 euros for the improvement of horizontal and vertical signage in neighborhoods and districts (30/06/2010)

The horizontal and vertical signaling pathways, avenues and neighborhoods of Murcia will be enhanced significantly by the Governing Board of the City of Murcia has given the green light to the provisional award of the service providing material for horizontal and vertical signaling to Murcia, parishes, amounting to 500,000 euros.

The winning company is Patricio Cabezas SA and the term is for two years.

The objective of this project focuses primarily on improving accessibility to different areas and to avoid any doubt or distraction that could cause drivers to wear the paint.

Note that the existing road markings on various streets and paths to Murcia require regular maintenance because they are parts subject to wear due to their action on road traffic and the elements.
