28/06/2010.- The UCAM has delivered this morning the awards of the 'V Olympiad Teleco' Murcia Region organized by the Engineering Degree in Telecommunication Systems from the Catholic University.
The first award was for Borreguero Alvaro Beltran, a student at The International School Limonar, which has received a scholarship to study Engineering Degree in Telecommunications Systems in the UCAM, a laptop, and proving a medal. The second has been classified the student Beatriz Vidal Villegas, who was handed a scholarship to study Engineering Degree in Telecommunications Systems in the UCAM, a 3.5 G mobile phone, and proving a medal.
For its part, the third prize was awarded to the student Yari Garcia Avila, who has also received a scholarship to study at Catholic University, a handheld game console and a medal. In addition, the UCAM has delivered two honorable mentions.
The first was for the student Santiago Molina Martinez, who has received an MP4 player and a diploma, the second honorable mention was awarded to the student Carmen Julia Martínez Zapata, who was handed a camera and a diploma. It should be noted that the main objective of this activity, which have occurred secondary school students in scientific and technological industry in the Region of Murcia, is to promote young people teaching their career Telecommunications .
