The new technologies have brought about a revolutionary change in society in recent years: banking, instant messaging, email and more diverse arrangements can be made easily from the personal computer.

It is undeniable that the computer has entered all areas and its ability to improve the quality of life of the population.

Manuel Campos Martinez, Associate Dean of External Relations and director of the First Computer Summer School of the Faculty of Computer Science at Sea International is a fact that "many of the services and amenities that we enjoy today are due to computer, without our being aware of it. "

Campos wants to make clear that the course intended for students of Secondary Education from 3 of the ESO, is available to all students of those ages who have concern about the technologies.

The course offers an overview of the most important new technologies: computer engineering, software engineering, computer networks and artificial intelligence, but always applied and fun way, "we tell the computer, but in a way practice, "says course director.

In this sense, students have the opportunity to know the role that mathematics plays in computer games, and check that "when you move a doll of a game, everything is based on mathematics," or they know, in the section dedicated to computer architecture, which holds a computer to function.

In short: "We want to demystify the computer, which students really know what is computer science, but all in a relaxed and fun way," otherwise, the tension just finished the course, students will not endure " says the course director.

The course will feature workshops and activities devoted to robotic vehicles and intelligent home automation or smart houses, among other issues.

The activity will take place at the Faculty of Informatics, University of Murcia in the morning session, from 28 June to 9 July.
