The Museum of Science and the water sample with an exhibition that will be open until September 13, a look at the role of women in the history of astronomy: their names, discoveries and other contributions.

The sample consists of three distinct parts.
The first is formed by fourteen information panels that explain the evolution of the science of astronomy and the importance of women in development.
So, show panels on astronomical concepts, historical context and the relationship between astronomy and culture.
The second part of the exhibition consists of seven interactive modules with the most modern museum techniques, in which can be reviewed more directly the role of women in the history of astronomy.
They can play games and answer questions, watch a video on the Harvard Observatory, where he worked some of the most renowned astronomers, or review the major astronomical landmarks featuring women.
The third and final part of the prop up various objects in the Agora film which tells the story of Hypatia of Alexandria, mathematician and astronomer of the early fifth century

This traveling exhibition, which has already visited Seville and Santiago de Compostela, has been created by the team 'She is an astronomer "who was born in 2009 to mark the International Year of Astronomy and which includes nine Spanish astronomers, including Josefina Ling and Eulalia Pérez Sedeño, curator of the exhibition.
