[Serrano: "The entire Ballesta administration smells bad, Roque's shenanigans, Coello's vaccines and now the investigation on contracts" (03/03/2021)

| The socialist spokesperson assures that "the more is known about the mayor's years, the greater the stench to rotten that gives off the whole plot that the Popular Party has mounted in the city of Murcia "| The spokesman for the Municipal Socialist Group, José Antonio Serrano, assures that he is not surprised by the news from La Opinion that reports on the investigation being carried out by the Economic and Fiscal Crime Unit (UDEF) of the National Police for alleged irregularities in the contracts signed at the Murcia City Council.

"The entire administration of Mayor Ballesta smells bad, Roque's shenanigans, Coello's vaccines and now the investigation on municipal contracts," he added.

In addition, he declares that "it is a real shame that this municipal institution, which represents almost half a million Murcians and Murcians, is under suspicion for this way of managing the PP, so flawed and dotted with doubts," says Serrano, who demands the mayor Crossbow that "shows his face, that does not hide behind smoke screens or dirty attacks.

What we need at this time is to clarify his management and that of his team, since the investigation has contemplated since 2015, when he took office as mayor for first time".

Likewise, the Socialist spokesman emphasizes that "we are not facing a trivial complaint, but an official investigation in which the Prosecutor's Office and the UDEF are involved.

However, he insists that "this action does not surprise us because from the PSOE we have spent months analyzing alleged violations in hiring, which has forced us, due to its seriousness, to go to court", therefore, "we feel compensated since When we have come out to denounce any of those contracts, such as those cited in the information, on projects of the Department of Culture, the PP has put all its machinery to discredit us in the face of public opinion, but, as they say, lies have the very short legs.

" In this regard, it states that the PSOE made known about a year ago alleged irregularities in the second largest contract of this City Council, that of Parks and Gardens, endowed with about 60 million euros and "the result of our suspicions at that time is the investigation of now.

Therefore, misguided we are not going.

" In any case, he points out, "the management of the PP in the Murcia City Council cannot be persecuted by that constant opacity, we cannot allow the administration of public money to be in question", and recalls that in the previous term a councilor he had to resign for insinuating what the PP used some contracts for.

In this regard, the spokesman points out that "the more is known about the years of Mayor Ballesta, the greater the stench of rottenness that emanates from the entire plot that the Popular Party has mounted in the city of Murcia." Serrano states that "it is important to go to the end and that, if the violation of the Public Sector Contract Law is confirmed, responsibilities are purged applying the full weight of justice.

We need our City Council to be unpolluted and that each one of the neighbors that he represents feel that their money is well managed, with transparency and neatness, especially in these moments of great economic difficulty for so many of them ".
