| The works made by participants in 'El Arte de los Niños' star in the exhibition' Covid Art 'that can be visited until March 27 thanks to the program' Cultural reagents' | The Canal Hall of Los Molinos del Río hosts a new project of the Cultural Reactives program of the Artillery Barracks Line, thanks to which children will take this cultural space from the hand of the artist Rafael Fuster. The exhibition 'Covid Art' will open next Friday, March 5, and will be open until March 27. The pandemic interrupted the pedagogical project 'The Art of Children', dedicated to promoting creativity in childhood, through workshops held exclusively in museums but Fuster decided to maintain this activity through online workshops, from his studio. After confinement, Fuster moved to the Salzillo Museum in Murcia, where he created a unique and different way of visiting, seeing and being in a museum. Now, the works made by Murcian children during this time are shown in Los Molinos del Río. 'The Art of Children' brings the little ones closer to heritage by familiarizing them with those places that are theirs, that belong to them and that are part of their roots, their lives and their culture. The Councilor for Culture and Heritage Recovery, Jesús Pacheco, has indicated that "Fuster has known how to reinvent his way of working with children and adapt to different situations in order to maintain this activity, showing that culture is essential in our society". Cultural Reagents The 'Cultural Reactives' program, which is allowing 126 projects to materialize in the municipality, has been recognized in Europe as an example of good practices to boost the cultural sector and respond to the difficulties that artists with reason for the health crisis. This initiative has allowed the immediate hiring of selected cultural initiatives, with the aim of supporting talent in all its stages, both established artists and those who are starting their careers in the sector. Given its success and good reception, the City Council has decided to promote a new annual call for Reactivos Culturales will select - as last year - the contracting of projects that are original and innovative, accepting proposals from any artistic or creative discipline: performing arts, music, plastic and visual arts, audiovisual projects, photography, poetry or literature projects, gastronomy, urban innovation, education and mediation, tradition and folklore, neighborhood projects, technology and robotics, and any other duly justified creative manifestation. This year, the call consists of 11 lines of work, to which a maximum amount of 1,000,000 euros will be allocated, which are: 1.
