[Mayor Jos Ballesta has not received the Covid vaccine (21/01/2021)

| Councilor Felipe Coello is a registered doctor and has held training sessions to participate in the vaccination process | The mayor of Sports and Health belongs to the priority group of first-line personnel in the social health field of the Vaccination Strategy against Covid-19 in Spain, as does the spokesman for the Municipal Socialist Group, Jos Antonio Serrano Mayor Jos Ballesta has not received the vaccine against Covid-19, as the Socialist Party hinted today.

The Popular Party has reproached the Socialists for not having the moral legitimacy to demand explanations about the follow-up of the Vaccination Strategy, after the spectacle that its mayors are giving throughout Spain. Likewise, given the criticism expressed by the PSOE, he points out that councilor Felipe Coello has been a doctor since 2006, date from which he is also member number 30/3008785 of the Illustrious College of Physicians of the Region of Murcia. It has also held training sessions to participate in the vaccination process.

The Chief of Vaccination of the Municipal Health Service, Jos Luis Olivares, an official with 40 years of experience, has been in charge of imparting the training at the request of the Directorate General of Health Pï ¿½blica of the Region of Murcia.

Olivares has trained more than 500 doctors and nursing staff in 2 telematic sessions in sessions held on December 23 and January 8, as well as Coello himself. Since last Saturday, January 16, Councilor Coello, beyond his functions as manager, has been directly involved in the front line of the vaccination campaign, integrating Joining the municipal team of vaccinators and actively participating in the supply of the vaccine, in order to administer the highest number of doses possible. An implication that has been realized continuously, punctually and transparently and that has been picked up by the media. In this way, Councilor Coello has given the dose to about 300 people in the last few days: last Saturday, January 16, between 4:30 p.m.

and 8:30 p.m.

He vaccinated odontï Doctors, physiotherapists and medical clinic staff, while on Tuesday, January 19, from 9:30 to 11:30 inoculated the vaccine to 180 users and workers of Jess Abandonado. The mayor of Sports and Health, therefore, is part of the priority group of first-line personnel in the health and socio-health field of the Vaccination Strategy against Covid-19 in Spain, like the spokesman for the Municipal Socialist Group, Jos Antonio Serrano, stressed the PP. The Popular Municipal Group reiterates in a statement sent to Murcia .com that all the groups vaccinated by the Municipal Vaccination Service have been those referred by the General Directorate of Public Health of the Health Council. Thus, the councilors of the PP are astonished that the Municipal Socialist Group and, specifically, the mayor Esther Nevado criticizes the fact that doses have been supplied to the users of Jess Abandonado, especially when the PSOE always boasts of be a champion of the most vulnerable groups. The PSOE does not have the moral authority to demand explanations about the monitoring of the Vaccination Strategy, since, up to now, its mayors of Molina de Segura, Rafelbunyol, El Verger, Els Poblets, Alcaracejos and Torrecampo, among others, have failed to comply its postulates. The PP has reported since the beginning of the vaccination campaign with absolute transparency, accounting for all the actions carried out day by day.
