[The PSOE asks Ballesta if he or any of his councilors have been vaccinated (21/01/2021)

Socialist councilor Esther Nevado calls on the mayor for urgent transparency: "We demand that you answer our questions through official channels and with rigorous data.

We are the seventh city council in Spain and the first in the Murcia region, we must act with total exemplarity " Faced with the situation of alarm generated yesterday by the cases of vaccination of high political officials, Councilor Esther Nevado sent an internal communication to Mayor Ballesta in which she raised a series of doubts about the administration ˝n of vaccines against Covid that is being carried out by the health service of the Murcia City Council.

"Doubts that today remain unresolved and that increase even more the level of alarm", explains the mayor.

Nevado insists again today, this time with a very clear question: "Mr.

Ballesta, have you or any of your councilors been vaccinated?" Nevado believes that "now more than ever we need transparency to be maximum and to act with rigorous exemplarity.

Delays and silences are not tolerable given the state of social alarm created.

The residents of Murcia they have to be able to trust their politicians and ambiguity won't help at all.

" Nevado recalls that "Murcia City Council is the seventh city council in Spain and the first in the Region, so we must be the first to dispel doubts and act with exemplary and transparency." The councilor reminds the Popular Party that "informal replies through the press are not worth us.

We cannot admit that a press release responds to a formal request.

It is their usual way of proceeding but this is not serious." determines Snowy.

"Yesterday we presented an official internal communication requesting reliable, rigorous and official data from the Murcia City Council.

They have to respond to us in the same way.

As the main opposition party we are in our duty and right to request and receive this information ", affirms the socialist.

"It is essential that in these moments of mistrust and uncertainty it is clarified as soon as possible if any member of the Corporation has been vaccinated.

We have to be relentless with any political position that uses their position to bypass the protocol of national vaccination.

Citizens do not deserve more scams or deceptions, "concludes the councilor.
